A Resilient Role Model

Who can remember what resilience is?

........ To Bounce Back from Adversity.........

Today, you will meet one of the most resilient role models there is. A man born without arms and legs. Today he is a youth pastor and an inspirational speaker. He is originally from Australia but now lives in California. Meet Nick Vujicic - you might not always agree exactly with what he is saying, but you will be moved and you will be inspired.

STOP THIS VIDEO AT 31:31 please. (He gets way off topic...)

Guess what? He got married and has a kid now... now, that is one resilient guy.

So, how resilient are you? Try this online quiz: http://www.resiliencyquiz.com/index.shtml

Finally, take out a piece of paper and answer the following questions. When you are done, write your name down and hand it in.

1) What were your first impressions of Nick?

2) Nick asks us all to be more kind, to be "encouraging." Why?

3) Why is he the ultimate example of bouncing back from adversity?

4) What was your resiliency score? Is it accurate?

5) List three ways you can be more resilient.
